In its October Horizon monthly review of the container shipping market, analyst MSI says it expects Asia to North Europe volumes to start growing year on year from Q4. “Sold out” in Chinese shipyards until 2027

Small clean tankers in demand as solid earnings and brisk sales keep values high
The arrival of the AT Honor into the Metro Maritim Intitama fleet gives the company four tankers of around 10,000-dwt with an average age of 16 years.
Although the ship will likely operate in the Indonesian cabotage trade, MSI forecasts that if it continues to trade internationally, its earnings during 2024 will average $8,650 per day, a figure that one broker described as still good. Read more at TradeWinds
